Founded in 1995, the PYO represents PIANISIMO Music School, which has been teaching Elementary and Professional music degree since 1982.
The orchestra is made up of young and promising musicians from 11 to 25 years old from all instrumental specialties, joining also the Choir of the School on numerous occasions.
Our main goal is to promote live music, classical and modern repertoire, and overall to provide to the young musical talents the opportunity to develop their skills, allowing them to reach their full potential as musicians.
By offering them the possibility of joining an orchestral ensemble, we will not only enhance the interpretation skills of each musician, but also such important values as solidarity, equality, merit and group feeling.
THE DIRECTOR
Milena Politti, in addition of being the main director of the PYO, she is a Violin and Chamber Music teacher at PIANISIMO. She has collaborated in projects such as “Adopta un músico” of the National Orchestra and Choir of Spain, created the initiative “Soportales en Clave”, and is the main responsible for production and management of the “Proyecto Ópera” of the University of Valladolid.
One of her best skills is her ability to communicate, connect and motivate students, and she is also looking forward to hearing you play with us!

If you are studying a Professional music degree or equivalent level, you are 11-25 years old and you want to start playing in the Pianisimo Youth Orchestra, contact us!
We will simply make you a level test with the repertoire you are used to play and a short interview. Very easy!
We rehearse once a week at the PIANISIMO Music School, which gives its name to the orchestra, and we have a fully equipped room to carry out the activity. For any additional information you need or if you wish to visit us, we are at your disposal.
